2010 Domaine Vrignaud Chablis 1er Cru
The 2010 Domaine Vrignaud Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume expresses the best from the Chablis region. The first vines were planted in 1955. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks. Each plot is harvested and vinified separately to express the potential of the different terriors. Malolactic fermentation follows and the wine ages on the lees.
Crisp aromas of lemon, mineral and limestone fill the glass. Green apple and citrus fills your palate with a clean freshness. Lots of fresh crisp minerality throughout. The finish brings a bit on a of lemon rind.
Overall a nice Chardonnay from the Chablis region of France.
