Franciscan Estate 2010 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

With the tasting room located on Highway 29 and Galleron Rd in St. Helena, California and their estate vineyard in Oakville, Franciscan Estate was founded in 1972 and purchased by Justin Meyer in 1975. The history is born out of a devotion to small lot winemaking and pioneering spirit.

Aged 20 months in small oak barrels this Napa Valley Cabernet is full bodied but not to heavy. Aromas of cherry, black currant and hints cedar fill the glass.  It is a very smooth drinking Cabernet Sauvignon with soft tannins combined with flavors of plum and black cherry.  Mid way through a nice flavor of cassis shows and lingers to the finish.

This is a drink now wine and retails for approximately $28

**I received this wine as a media sample from their PR agency
