Calling for Winter in Wine Country Photos

Harvest is over and so are the holidays. We are now hunkering down for what winter will bring in the Northern Hemisphere.

Wine country can be quite beautiful in the winter. It tends to be a slow time in the tasting room but you get that individual service.  It's a time when ice wine is harvested and the winemakers are tending to the past harvest that is sitting in tanks and barrels.  There might even be some bottling going on or disgorgement for sparkling wine.

While driving back to Poughkeepsie a on Sunday in December, listening to a marketing podcast I got an idea. Nobody really talks about winter in wine country.  It is almost like we all go into hibernation. Then a bell went off in my head and when I got home I went to work to create "Winter in Wine Country" http://winterinwinecountry.com/ a place for all of us to share our photos of....you guessed it, "Winter in Wine Country" all year round around the globe.

Whether you are a winery owner, winemaker, wine enthusiast, blogger, or just a someone who finds themselves out visiting or driving by a winery on a winters day, this is the place where you can share those photos so we can all get a glimpse of Winter in Wine Country.

All you have to do is: visit  http://winterinwinecountry.com/submit or email winterinwinecountry@gmail.com   to submit your photo.  Please include the information below.
