Charmed by Chocolate Weekend

If you are a chocolate lover this weekend in Rhinebeck June 29 - July 1 is for you.  Carrie Meltzer, Owner/Innkeeper of The Looking Glass Bed & Breakfast has put together a fantastic weekend around, yes, chocolate.

Friday evening the fun begins and you will find a decadent chocolate platter in your room provided by Calico.  Then join the other guests in the living area to find your chocolate inspired cocktail, wine and beer before walking over to The Liberty Public House for a chocolate infused dinner.
Saturday begins with a chocolate inspired breakfast and time to explore the charming village of Rhinebeck.  Everyone will meet at 1pm at Oliver Kita Chocolates as the famous chocolatier will present "Tasting chocolate from around the equator"- a pictorial chocolate journey from the harvesting of cocoa to the manufacturing of chocolate.  You will then taste chocolate from four geographies: Madagascar, Venezuela, Ecuador and Dominican Republic.

The rest of the day is yours.

Sunday after a hearty breakfast, Cari will present to the guests a wonderful Signature Stay souvenir tote filled with chocolate laden gifts from books (provided by Oblong Book Store), candles (provided by Periwinkles), hot cocoa (provided by Harney & Sons) and a few other surprises.

The all inclusive rate for the weekend is $680 per couple.  To book this wonderful weekend call Cari at 845.876.8986 or email

5% of the proceeds from the Charmed by Chocolate weekend will be donated to Start Small Think Big.
