Travel Friday - European Wine River Cruising

Cruising on the historic rivers of Europe and visit the villages and towns where it all began.  Ama Waterways offers some of the most beautiful cruises to the wine regions of Europe.

You can spend time cruising down the Danube, Rhine, or Rhone depending on your itinerary.  There are special cruises with winery hosts Christopher Silva of St. Francis Winery, Barry Wiss of Trinchero Family Estates & Eric Glomski of Page Spring Cellars.

Included in your cruise are winery visits, tastings and lecturers. To work off what you will be eating and drinking, you can explore the towns on bicycles and get a true feel of the region.

These cruises are comfortable and easy going.  You are not on a cruise with thousands of others. You are on a beautiful riverboat riding down the historic rivers in Europe.  You are docking in the most beautiful and historic towns and all you do is walk off the ship and your exploring on foot or on bike.  At the end of the day, your floating hotel will take you to the next village.

Your dining experience will be wonderful, beginning with champagne breakfast and free-flowing hand selected European wines with dinner.  If you need to check in with the life you left home, there is free internet access on board.

Now is the time to begin thinking about these November cruises.  To entice you a little if you book any of the below cruises with me by April 30th, 2012 you will receive $500 off per cabin and a $300 shipboard credit.

Start thinking and begin planing for November! While each cruise is unique on it's own, I thought I'd share with you the six wine cruises planned for this year.  At a later date I will go into more detail.  You can click on the links and explore on your own.
